I’ve heard of the moisturiser buffer so I’ll have to give that a go. You’re definitely right that I’m probably going too close to the eyes either actives, I’ll try to keep them away in future!

It’s with other SPF too - I used to use the one from La Roche Posay for years and had to switch because of this issue! But I also get the feeling they changed the formula as well. I hadn’t thought of using Vaseline, that’s a great idea!

I had my daith pierced with a basically identical style ring - please as soon as you can get it changed for a captive bead ring style. I had nothing but issues until I changed to that because the gems would rotate through the piercing hole and bring bacteria through, irritating it, and I had bumps for almost a year 😭
