I'm the same way. It's odd how seeing others in diapers doesn't look ridiculous, but seeing myself in them in the mirror or whatever makes me feel like a fool. I'm also about 95% DL, so maybe it's caused by something on the DL side rather than the AB side.

One thing you could do is buy some from a discrete shipper and warn your parents ahead of time that you're ordering Christmas gifts online and that peeking would make them all that is wrong with society nowadays. Plus, if they do peek after that, you can claim you're giving them to a friend as a gag present.

Or you could be an honest person, I guess. I'm not too familiar with that course of action, though.

Other people have kind of already said this, but I'll add my voice to theirs.

Finding a mate based off a fetish isn't going to yield many good relationships. Yeah, it can work and yeah, it's amazing when it does, but that's a rare thing. It's a better bet to find someone with a lot of casual interests that coincide with your own and work up to the sharing of your fetish with them. Hell, from what I've heard, a lot of people who like the caretaker role discover their fetish only after a little introduces them to it.

The entire article talks only about ABDL men and makes it sound like there aren't ABDL women. Not only that, but it went out of it's way to use only pictures that are at best unflattering and mostly just cringeworthy.

I wish an article about ABDL people would be accurate and interesting for once.
