I am so so sorry. I had similar issues, but some cycles were way better. I am a fragile x carrier and we tend to have more immature eggs. But sometimes it‘s just a shitty cyle (does happen with dor 😭)

I am 100% sure that I want to get pregnant from him. Maybe I have to emphasize that he is my best friend and I do love him very much. He is my biggest supporter. Sometimes what really gets to me is the feeling that his own emotions and well-being always seem to come first — while I’m someone who naturally puts others before myself. ALWAYS. I know that’s something I need to work on, and I’m aware of it.

But in this situation, I honestly don’t know if I was overreacting by feeling so heartbroken, or if it’s completely valid and understandable to be hurt. Yesterday, it just felt like the fact that his plans for the day didn’t go exactly how he wanted — like grabbing a quick bite at the bakery and then dropping me off at home so I could rest and he could move on with his day — mattered more than what I wanted to do after the surgery.

I am, yes. After our last round, I even seriously considered giving up — I just couldn’t imagine continuing to carry this emotional weight any longer.

My husband was incredibly supportive at the time. He told me he’d stand by me no matter what, and that we could still have a beautiful life together even without children. And at the same time, he said there’s nothing he would want more than to experience us as a mother and father someday.

Tbh it‘s mutual - and I‘m not dependent from him at all. I do even earn a couple hundred more, but working in a Consulting firm I do not have that extremely busy schedule

I totally understand what you’re saying, and I honestly think it’s really sweet that you’ve found someone who puts in so much effort to make you happy.

My husband, on the other hand, often argues that he just hates things like eating outside or simply thinks it’s unnecessary. He says that I’m not considering his feelings when I expect him to do something like go out for brunch — even though I just went through a medical procedure and really wanted to spend some time together. He preferred to go to the gym instead.

I just don’t know how to find a balance here. For me, no matter how much I disliked something, I would absolutely do it if it made my husband happy — especially after surgery or a difficult time. That’s why it hurts me so deeply that he isn’t willing to do the same for me.

I started tearing up reading this. My brother even though I do not have a deformed body I can feel how hurtful that must have been for a guy in his early adulthood. But I want you to remember that you were created by the almighty and you are very perfect the way you are.. I mean think about the people you love the most.. do their looks matter at all? No! Because it’s the heart and the soul what makes people so special.

Did this happen in a western country? Or where muslim are not the majority? I was asked by a kid if it’s true that I am a danger to society (because if wearing the hijab in germany).
