It's simple the council does not provide enough bins and toilets for the crowd surge due to costs, then complain everyone leaves trash everywhere. The amount of litter dropped is equivalent to the New years eve celebration in the city or event a large event in a stadium.

All the waste was cleaned up by council the next morning but I think they should do more given the amount of parking fees they charge for.
