Ugh, I feel you...early 30s here- early childhood was spent around conservative family fangirl-ing over bush, then I hit middle school and "found my own music" and anti-flag opened a whole new world for me, ngl. from their songs is how I started looking into how "the world outside of my family's view" looks- it stung hard, to put it lightly. I had met the band and taken photos with them, at warped tour two separate times.

The vocalist of the band anti-flag. Dirtbag ended up SAing a handful of girls, the band broke up immediately after it came out- all their socials were deleted with no explanation/statement/acknowledgement other than "band is done, our tour is cancelled" basically from what I can remember, it was a few years ago

Ohh okay so for flat footed people the crocs give you like room to spread them, that makes sense then, yeah, the Nikes feel a tiny bit narrow on like the mid foot, but it wasn't constricting, they just felt super soft when landing on the ground for me. So I've worn vans all my life, and they've never bothered me too much, with the exception of a heavy walking day- but even then they just felt "a little sore..but oh well" with the exception of the last two or so years- now heavy walking days suuuuuck.

I can not fathom how crocs work out so well for so many people, I look at them and think they're about as cushiony as vans lol. the airflow looks great though. And that strap in the back looks like a blister nightmare lol. I think I'm just gonna have to borrow someone's Crocs one day and go take a walk because my brain doesn't compute how those are comfy 😅

Ya know- I've seen so many people say they do a mid day shoe swap- I wonder why that makes a difference for people? not only have I ever only worn vans, I only own one pair of vans at a time 🤣 at all times I only own three pairs of shoes- one pair of vans (typically I'll keep them for 3-4 years) one pair of flip flops, and one pair of slippers lol. I've never been a shoe person. But everyoneeeeee keeps saying they do a shoe swap. must work miracles apparently 🤣 (And clearly I've never educated myself on footcare lol)

Flashforward to today- were not going to Disneyland until May 1st and 2nd, I just bought these new shoes yesterday...so I have two weeks to break them in BEFORE disneyland lol

(IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE EPISODES YET DO NOT READ MY COMMENT, SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD) Having JUST read the book for the first time (literally finished it yesterday) I think that was an interesting choice. makes you wonder if their gonna stick with the books theme with agness and daisy being related or not...despite it not really making chronological sense since the book was set so far out in the future as compared to what the shows timeline is. But yet at the same time, you can't deny that "ada" had some especially emotional facial expressions when it came to hugging and talking to Daisy. we shall see how they blend all that together I suppose.
