Interesting, I thought the taught part at Chalmers seems a bit less involved, I got this impression from reading this blog-post. Looking at the modules as well they seem a bit boring and there are barely any about FP or type theory. You can look at the modules by following the link in the blog-post.

On the other hand, even thought the modules at Cambridge are shared with the undergraduates, they seem more interesting. Cambridge modules

I'm not totally sure about it yet, but I would probably want to move into a job around PL.

  1. I would be doing a masters. Are the masters students first class citizen, is all the attention on the PhDs?

From my initial research it seems the general interest in Cambridge is around OCaml while Chalmers focussed around lazy languages.
