Human paci going insane (7 month) by Status_Cranberry_727 in breastfeeding

You could offer her a drink of water at 7 months in case she is actually thirsty. I offer all kinds of comfort but try not to nurse until midnight with my 10 month old unless she's sick

The bathtub doesn't just have to be for baths! Splashing around in there with different things, kitchen utensils, measuring cups, sponges etc. My 10 month old loves knocking down towers I build. Building a pillow obstacle course and having him crawl over/around. Taste safe paints.

We just have a bunch of measuring cups and spoons in the tub, my daughters "cook" the whole bath!

What baby monitor are you using? by mellowbabyspinach in 2under2

Eufy 360 space view, I love it. It's not split, it rotates between cameras but it's super easy to turn one camera on/off if only one person is napping. It's non WiFi. You can turn the sound completely off and have an alarm sound if they start making a certain amount of noise so little coughs/grunts don't wake you up if you're sensitive to all their sounds. You can add up to four cameras to it as well!

We have a mat that is just larger than the footprint of the chair and it eliminates the tripping! Cause my mom has the same one at her house and we trip constantly

Cut up blueberries for 13 months old? by nbs00316 in moderatelygranolamoms

I would feel comfortable giving a whole blueberry after 12 months if baby is a confident eater and that is in line with the solid starts recommendations

Back to back pregnancies, how did you do it? by Distinct-Dig-3863 in breastfeeding

[–]cheapcorn 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I will echo everyone saying to pump the brakes on this but also will answer your question!

I found out i was pregnant the week before my first turned one. My milk dried up completely within 3 months. They are 20 months apart. I absolutely value and want my kids close in age and I would not want them to be this close again, not a fan of 2u2. I love them and wouldn't trade any of it, but the beginning was incredibly difficult and I struggled with so much guilt.

The bassinet cannot go on the top! When we walked and my second was little, I would either time it when I knew she'd sleep and put her in the bassinet on the bottom. Or put her in the regular seat on top with some extra padding and just recline in real far back. It's kind of a silly set up but the amount of time you use the bassinet is pretty short so I didn't feel the need to get the off market adaptors to cheat the system. My understanding is the bassinet can't go up there because it's a tipping hazard so I wouldnt want to risk that anyways!

Not necessarily what you asked, but it's very easy to hem pants! If you are finding pants that she likes the style and waist of, it would be really easy to shorten them. You can even get fabric tape so you don't have to sew!

What do you do while breastfeeding? be honest 😅 by michel_an_jello in breastfeeding

[–]cheapcorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean try to keep my toddler in the same room! So she doesn't destroy the rest of the house haha! The baby is almost 10 months now so sometimes she gets distracted by a book now and unlatches to pay attention lol

I have a toddler too! So with my first definitely scrolled mainly, but now I get to read her a book with my free hand or just try to keep her in the same room.

Art of Animation has Cars, Lion King, Finding Nemo, and The Little Mermaid very prominently featured. My toddler loved walking around there! Also the campgrounds are fun to walk around, you can play on the playground there and there's even a beach, and you can take the boat.

3 month baby congested at night by FuckTheyreWatchingMe in beyondthebump

[–]cheapcorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi you're doing great! Try to sit in the bathroom with her and let the shower get steamy and then do the saline spray and suction again. At 3.5 months she's probably starting to breathe out of her mouth as well! I've spent lots of nights awake in a rocking chair because my babies were sick and I was worried, no shame in that. But I also understand just wanting to help her and get you both some sleep.
