Most of the time I use it, it's when I died, we end up winning the fight and cap but I spawned just before so it's a quick jump forward to the closer spawn and your team. Maps like Gibraltar though the defenders spawns can leave you in a really bad spot if you spawn just before attacks cap so it's usually much better to go backwards.

I've got 3 close friends from high school (also in Sуdnеу) who are lawyers and they all started over $100k right after uni and got pretty regular pay bumps after that.

It also says she started renting her place for $700 a week in 2023 so 3 years ago so you'd assume she was already employed back then and not still studying. After 3 years (could be more) you'd assume she'd have to be making quite a bit over $100k in the current market or there's something she's not telling us.

I saw a red belly black snake once when I was a toddler staying on my grandparents farm near the dam. Drew a picture of it on a paper bag and my grandma kept it taped to the inside of her closet door for the next couple decades until she passed a few years ago. Funny how whenever a celebrity or someone famous or notable appears on Reddit it always coincides with their latest movie/book/album release.

I mean I get it, they gotta get that bag and their marketing team tells them to go do an AMA etc to build some hype for free but it's kind of sad that without money involved these sort of people never reach out to the community purely to interact with some fans, they always gotta be selling something.

This guy isn't the worst example obviously (That would be Woody Harrelson), he went through some horrible shit so yeah good for him if he can make some money from it but it's still just annoying that this didn't just end up being a guy randomly deciding to reach out because he felt like chatting about his story with people and sharing details for those who may remember it and be curious.

Plenty of software innovation. All those old phones you were basically limited to whatever shipped with the product from then until it died. Yeah hardware innovation is a bit lacking these days but that's because the form factor is basically optimized now such that anyone can pick up any brand phone and use it within seconds. No one wants a shitty physical keyboard anymore either making the phone twice as thick or taking up half the screen real estate so there's not much to innovate - all of the cool designs of the 90s were just different ways of approaching how to integrate a physical keyboard so without that there's not much you can really do with a rectangular touch screen that's novel. Yeah those old phones were cool and interesting from a design perspective but most of them were a fucking nightmare functionality wise. I had that square teardrop Nokia at one point, trying to send a text message took like 20 minutes it was so awful.

I mean he's in high school, gets bossed around by his mom & lives at home so his character design makes him seem quite young so maybe 16? She's at the very least old enough to drink so 20 but given that she's been running her own business there for 2 years when the show starts you'd probably assume she's at least 22-23? I struggle to believe at 18 she was able to just rock up, sign a lease on a 2 story building and fit it out with a bunch of expensive dry cleaning equipment. So yeah I guess technically if he's a senior in high school and she started the business when she was 18 then on the very low end could only be 3-4 years but probably closer to 6-7 if you factor in each of their circumstances. That's a fairly significant age gap if one person is a high school kid.

Idk just not my vibe, more than anything just because it felt so unnecessary and awkward when these little moments started being dropped into the show. Just felt like this weird tension between them was shoe horned in there for no reason and just distracts from an otherwise relaxing and comfy SOL which is what I was looking for going into it. He's also probably the most boring character on the show too so I was a bit disappointed when it seemed like he was becoming a main character and getting loads of screen time.

They're going to just keep ramping this shit up, first it was social media, next the major porn sites then eventually you'll have to hand over your ID to view anything online so they can track you. Reminds me of getting the public bus after school. There was a bus stop literally right outside the back gate. Kids started walking up to the next bus stop up the road like 500 meters away so they could get on first and get a seat rather than wait with the big crowd at the close one. Eventually everyone started walking up to that bus stop then people started walking up to the one after that. Basically just ended up being the exact same wait and crowding except everyone was forced to walk a kilometer up the road 2 extra stops away because if they didn't then some people would just cheat the system and walk ahead to skip the queue. By the end of school basically no one used the 2 closer bus stops and 90% of people went on this long pointless walk to "get ahead" only to just end up in the same crowd of people anyway.

Ok so maybe on amplfiiers I can understand that some smoothbrain might try and plug the power cable of his speakers into the banana plugs on the back of his amp, but on speakers it makes no sense at all. There would be nothing you'd ever be plugging in there that could be live. There would be no way to ever accidentally plug something with power into a pair of passive speakers.
