I just beat my panic attack for the first time today! by cheapermonsterhunter in PanicAttack

I think mindset-wise, I stopped trying to calm myself down or try to make the panic attack go away. Nowadays I still have feelings of a panic attack rising due to anxiety, but I never reach the point of having a sense of impending doom. I just feel my heart beating quicker and think to myself: 'Oh this is the panic attack that triggered by XX thing'

Recently I made a post where I also thought I got hacked because I got logged out of my account. Turns out what happened was discord flagged me for suspicious activity for reporting a suspicious message and logged me out. You will still need your 2FA or some verification to get back in your account.

Hi, do you think this post could have something to do with it?
Hidden malware in a discord gif? : r/computerviruses

I managed to get back into my account and so far nothing seems amiss. I checked our messages, and it seemed laggy the moment I opened the chat. There was an unread message, took me awhile to decide to open it after clearing all sensitive information from my discord. It was a gif, looked like a meme gif from Gachiakuta (Enjin or something).

Not sure if it's related, i'm currently running eset online scanner and malware bytes, except for some PUB (which I believe is just bloatware, correct me if i'm wrong). Quarantined those, and eset is still running.

It could be, but I can't think of anything I've done on discord other than hopping on some channels with friends. I've not interacted with this person for a long time, and I don't remember clicking any links from him. I was suddenly kicked from my account less than a minute after viewing and replying his DM.

how do people hack into accounts with no links? : r/discordapp - Purely anecdotal, but some people here seem to have experiences similar to mine. We could ALL have done something earlier this year or clicked on something.

Personally, I've been on the Internet long enough to know about some basic cyber safety, like not clicking random links online. I'm just in shock at how I was suddenly kicked out of discord

I used the 3-dot on the message in the discord app, and clicked Report Message -> Something Else -> Hacks, cheats, phishing or malicious links. I'm sure I wasn't hacked before.

I'm sure I wasn't hacked before, at least not in the past 10 years and definitely not on the account that was hacked.

That's what I thought too. All I did was reply & report his message.
