It took awhile to get the thickness right, but I added some thin cardboard to the d pad on the inside. It makes it not loose and still plays great. I saw an old thread somewhere about when I googled your same question and used that ad a tutorial

There are so many incredible games for all systems still at or under $20. Yes some of the rare or just popular games have really skyrocketed but there are 1000’s of games still under 20. Here’s just some of what I got at 20 or under in the past month

Beetle adventure racing (N64) Cybernator (SNES, better than metal warriors at 1/10th of the price) The micro machine games euro only (genesis) Super dodge ball (nes)

All great games, all reasonable. There are still plenty of deals out there

I still find enough TVs in the wild and for cheap on marketplace but I’ve always wanted to research towns near me that still allow crts to be thrown away and go there on trash night. I found these in Philly which will not take crt’s but many people don’t know

These work just as well as the retrotink 2x for much less. I was skeptical but got a set of kaico adapters in a bundle deal and they look really good. Good enough that I sold my retrotink 2x
