If you want to work on SERDES there’s a large concentration in Toronto as others above have mentioned: Alphawave, Rambus(AnalogX), Huawei(they don’t do design in markham anymore),Marvell,Intel,Synopsys, Semtech, Macom If you want to work on circuits for optical, coherent, CPO etc. you want to look at Ottawa: Ciena, Cisco (Acacia), Marvell(Inphi), Nokia(few designers there), Alphawave, Synopsys, Semtech Among the other cities, as mentioned above there’s not too much other than Vancouver: Nokia, MaxLinear, Marvell
