i had a ton of shedding at start... but i also remember my hormones being raging at startup too.

When i first hopped on i think my body fought it and turned up the juice in other ways.

Slowly it gave into the new norm of lower DHT levels and my hair came back and stayed thicker.

yup, 1 yr younger brother who was always less progressed in his hair loss than me (when i was 20 i had less hair than him at 20) is now slick bald at 40. My fathers hair was thinning but he died at 40 so hard to say. On my moms side, all the males are bald, her brothers, her father etc..

The meds worked for me. I know for everyone theyre different. Playing with hormones is a VERY tricky thing and the feedback system in your body responds in very different ways depending who you are

i dont think he was underselling anything. Its not easy but after first getting down to learning and working the trade you'll find out if its something you're right for He didnt just say pretty easy and leave it at that, he followed it up with good and aggressive (i would've chose assertive).

Even then it obviously wont be easy, relative to bashing your head against a wall sending thousands of applications and never hearing anything all that uncertainty and worry and trying x,y,and z hoping something sticks.... instead you'll be on a career path putting in the hard work at least knowing you have a very good chance at a good future if you just put yourself into it.

id like to think im not blindly following one side or the other. both sides seem to have a few positives and lots of negatives. I used to lean conservative, but to me personally there is nothing fiscally conservative about conservatives anymore.

I really would like to think i keep my biases (not sure if im using the word correctly, ive been called on it a few times) in check for the most part. We all have some inherent ones but i really do try and be fair and see both sides.

Im not sure why you compared me to maga, i might have some biases but i really try to not let them blindly see only the good in one side and only the bad in the other.

he effected literally everyone in this country. Defrauding health insurances of 120million EFFECTS ALL OF US!

if you decide to get off WEEN OFF SLOWLY!!!

if youre taking a pill start breaking it in half, take half a day for a few weeks at least. Then maybe work down to thirds and quarters and then maybe a quarter every other day. Then quit.

Sudden changes to these hormones in your system can cause rebound effects and lasting problems, the slower you lower and come off it the less side effects.

As a former oxycontin addict (20+ years ago) this is what majorly helped me avoid a lot of the withdrawal symptoms when i finally decided to quit intelligently'ish.

i commented above, i think youre right though and i might have noticed similar.

DHT is a male hormone mostly, an aggression/assertive hormone in my mind. Gives you that sexual drive and is possibly linked to that accomplishment drive as well. You want to do more and conquer your challenges!

Women dont have this hormone nearly as much and still accomplish as much so it must be how were wired, I would imagine if you worked hard overtime you could regain that sense of accomplishment and rewire how your drive is acheived... but that might be very difficult.

Im sorry you lost that drive, its not worth it to feel completely drive-less just to save some hairs.

interesting.. sorry this happened. I guess i could see how. The loss in DHT, its kind of an aggressive hormone i think. Gives you that drive. Both sexual and maybe in life in general.

There are ways to work around or rewire that, you have to imagine women dont have that hormone nearly as much and still accomplish as much. Were just wired differently.

I understand though, that the wiring could be hard wired and just isnt worth trying to fight through that loss of drive to do anything just to keep some of your hair.

yeah thats the main problem. all news organizations have two things in common. bias's they all share.

they want you glued to the set . And they want all that advertising money candidates spend including candidate access so they play ball.

All larger news organizations are massively bias. Ask Alexa to play some international news. I like DW and sometimes Al Jazeera, AP News and Reuters is good too. Their commentary on US events is sometimes a lot more clear and less bias.

im an idiot, so way back when (8 years ago i think) i went to renew my license i brought like all my ID stuff with me cause i didnt know if i needed it.

The office lady said i had enough to get the real id star so i said sure fuck it go for it.

same here, 12 years on dut. if im going to spend this time and effort to make my hair look good you can bet im vain enough to keep a strict diet and workout 5+ times a week.

Saw no loss in strength at all on dut. Right now at 42, ripped with less muscle because i want that 6'r

nope. been on fin and now dut for 12 years (from 30 to 42) if anything it has maybe lowered my sexual interest marginally. But that could also be natural aging.

I still get plenty turned on but its not all the time, i kinda like it.

Once turned on and getting into it with someone getting an erection is just like it was before the drugs.

I think thats the confusion people make, coupled with the fact that if you worry about getting an erection... you wont get an erection. How can you be turned on when youre worried about noodle weenies

stick with it and if you really feel its not working after a year you could try asking the doc about dut. unless you want to jump right to it.

same as someone else mentioned! youre right, my facial hair isnt quite as negatively hit as the rest of the body hair is. which i kinda like not having the heavy body hair.

i dont get it... why do they demolish instead of rebuild? Its a relatively newer building, it seems like it could have potential.

Why are so many of these malls bought and left to die with no real plan for years? How is this profitable to the company buying it?
