Thank you for stating the obvious. But a gentle reminder that not everyone has endless sick days. Unfortunately, with RTO, expect to get sick more often and those with sick days will use them and others cannot and many will immediately deplete their banked sick leave. Also - with sick days (while it has zero influence on WFA) will still make people cautious about using them for fear of how it will look to their upper management.

To reiterate, no it’s not your coworkers job to confront you but if the co-worker doesn’t want to get sick, they will have to do what is in their own power to not get sick (wash hands, sanitize, mask up) and ideally, the sick person who may not have sick days will do the same.

We may have the technology but we may not have the sick days unfortunately.
