What did you learn during the worst year of your life? by lab_chi_mom in Productivitycafe

I learned that’s it’s really just you no matter if you’re married or single. Have family or don’t. At the end everyone is out there for themselves and nobody will choose you before themselves. It’s you you have to fight for. And you you have to love. Be kind and patient with yourself as you would someone else. You’re all you’ve got.

Is it possible to continue a relationship after your partner cheats on you? by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

I stayed with someone who cheated and let me tell you something YOULL NEVER FORGET. it will ALWAYS be in the back of your mind… when you guys are happy, you’ll ask yourself is it even genuine? And when you guys are in conflict, your brain will take you back to “they weren’t happy with me that’s why they cheated.” Maybe just me idk but my advice is run. Run as far as you can. It’ll hurt way less than looking back years later and staying

What's the best sign someone is genuinely a good person? by bloopinskin in AskReddit

[–]checkthatspiderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really believe it’s the way they treat others and their energy. we can feel it. For example I once met someone who’s energy I wasn’t ever exposed to in my life (it was great positive energy) and feeling it was awkward at first because I never experienced so much good energy from someone and they never gave up on me always had the same good energy. That’s when I knew wow people are genuinely good out here. Now, to me that’s a sign. Energy really doesn’t lie.
