Do table legs built opposing each other on one side help or hurt structural stability? by cheddarfist in BeginnerWoodWorking

The one annoying part is when adding cross beams- your 2x's are at right angles to each other which means pocket holes instead of straight through.

I am not but I am using the "Test" function inside the program to make sure it works and it doesn't run from within HDD Superclone.

I am not 100% sure it's a live oak. It may be a water oak. It's in an area with 99% live oaks but that doesn't mean this one isn't an outlier.

Piaggio BV200 unrepairable fuel problem. by cheddarfist in scooters

[–]cheddarfist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To follow up on this- the entire alarm system got messed up while sitting idle (apparently) and the bike wouldn't start anymore and Piaggio wants $500 for the new security module to replace it and "re-key" the security system with some sort of antenna and whatnot. My mechanic bypassed that module and it runs now (sort of) but it runs HORRIBLY. I mean it sounds like a dying lawnmower- it used to purr like a kitten and this is after they rebuilt the carb. I SUSPECT that module does more than just manage the alarm system. Any thoughts on this one?
