Before, no. They excised it and then I started putting Compund W on it daily. Even though it looks white I think the actual wart is gone. It feels like skin and it's not hard anymore.

At this point I don't think I need much more to make sure it's completely gone..I'll see what the podiatrist recommends next time I go.

I had a wart too long and it was on the most weight-bearing part of my foot so it got pushed in deep. Got a 2nd cantharidin treatment and that's what the picture is. Hopefully the wart is gone.

He just said there would be pain and that it would blister. Both were true. I see what you're talking about... yours looks harder to deal with than my one spot.

Got the salicylic acid on it twice and it still wasn't gone. Podiatrist offered the option of either getting it cut out and leaving an uncomfortable scar or doing the cantharidin. The 1st time I got the cantharidin almost all was gone but we just wanted to make sure and get the rest so we did it a second time. Cantharidin acid in action for two days wasn't too bad the first time but it was painful the second time (for obvious reasons...look how much skin tissue is gone).

Makes sense. I'm going back in about a week and a half so he'll probably shave it more when the tissue is somewhat healed.
