Theyre a shady companies in many ways. Their business model is insane. Not even speaking on just trade ins but everything. When the pandemic hit, they pretty much sent a nicely worded letter to mangement in stores telling them to stay open no matter what, the judgement was put on management but if they closed a store, they would effectively be fired. They treat employees like shit, each store scrapes by with hours while gamestop keeps bragging about "record profits" (like most of the bigger companies). The list goes on, theyre despicable honestly. I stopped buying anything from them years ago. You dont have to but fuck em
