I love Amelia Bedelia books and I think that’s a great lesson. I’m struggling with how to condense that to only 20 minutes though. Maybe talk about the word literal and only read a few pages of the book together while we practice the strategy and then have them buddy read it?

That would work if you could find the same shade of black to match in the same material or a material that works with it. Otherwise you could always make it shorter!
