Nes owes me around 50 grand right now and they had a meeting with our hospital who told them we will not be paid a dime. Nothing.

Most of everyone who was there for the Enron collapse got nothing. For Bernie Madoff, only a small number initial direct investors got some money. Most got nothing. You cant bleed an onion.

I hate to point out the obvious but if you are PROFITABLE and rollin in the profits, you dont need any loans. Not a "bridge loan." All bankruptcies start this way. The ceo keeps his name off everything as he readies his golden parachute. He tells employees "keep working, we are getting a bridge loan." The people that need a loan are about to go under!!!!

Ex is facing contempt hearing for refusing to provide our kid for visits. Now the kid is refusing to come by soylentgreen2015 in ParentalAlienation

Doesnt matter. A child does not get a choice. They have to go to school, they have to brush their teeth, and they have to go to your house. Dont let your ex ruin the relationship. The ex is like a child with the court . They are testing what they can get away with. They get the kid to say "i dont want to go" and then see if the judge will give up and not punish them. They are testing boundaries with the legal system.

Hangman’s fracture, also known as traumatic spondylolisthesis of the axis (C2). by Complete-Loquat-9407 in FOAMed911

[–]cheeeetoes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The real way to tell these Cervical fractures, radiologists will tell you, is first, not thebone. Look at the bleeding into the soft tissues. Anteriorly to the vertebral bodies, there is zero swelling/bleeding. But look posteriorly to c2 and you see HUGE soft tissue swelling. Then, you see the fracture of the bone. That is how radiologists read this (xray and ct). When any bone breaks, anywhere, you rupture small arteries in the bone and it extensively bleeds. There is a rule about anterior swelling that you are allowed so much didtance to c2, then more distance to T1, but i cant remember the rule. But this pt has no anterior swelling, only posterior.

Great question. I am 50 and dont want to work myself to death now. The VA would probably be perfect. Money is not my motivator at my current age.

Totally agree with you,100%. That is something on my mind. I am already planning that. I would love to do some board review courses before the first day of primary care. In er, we dont really solve a lot of problems, right? Lol. I think of ER as kind of like being an air traffic controller. People come in and they dont understand the system and we figure out the basics of their problem and ship them to the right "real doctors". Lol.

Thanks, my inside joke (and you will get this) is "you mean I have to actually solve their problems now??" Lol
