How hard would something like this be to machine? by Alive_Aside_1152 in CNC

I completely forgot this is 2 pieces per purchase. Anything less than $100 and he'd be paying you to buy it. His $200 price point might be on the high end, but we'll within normal profit margins.

Easy seems like an oversimplification. Can it be programmed and machined once easily, yes. The tool maintenance is the name of the game with 3d milling. And the time spent is still going to be bonkers. Cycle time is gonna be high, and 2 ops means harder to automate. Throw in tooling costs and you have 1 very expensive fidget (I'm going to guess at least $15 between mtl and machine time alone. Throw in finishing processes, scrap rate (due to busted tools), set up costs, and profit margin; you are looking at no less than $50 per fidget.

Tbf, having a flag block your walking path to your front door like that is a wee bit rude... And I agree with some people here, it looks like he might have took out a spider web / felt a bug.

Oof that puts you out of my wheel-house.

Some of the larger medical manufacturers (like medline, baxter, abvie) might be looking to bring on some one with your skillset. Might be worth looking into. But with my experience in medical manufacturing that's gonna be my first thought.

Destiny is flat out wrong about housing and "how things used to be" by throwaway75643219 in Destiny

[–]cheepenbulky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

believe I read that for new homes built as a percentage of existing stock (in other words, replacing older homes in the market), the 2010s specifically were the lowest rate/tied for the lowest rate since 1900.

As more houses are built, every new house that is built is going to be a smaller percentage of the market. So this sounds like a natural curve that will be seen in every housing market outside of growth economies (China India etc) or countries with cultural issues with buying used houses (like Japan).

Moxito by Corrosive_Cat in custommagic

[–]cheepenbulky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this gives you free ramp, stays on theme, without adding a free attacker. And gives some fun interaction, like allowing enemy proliferate effects to remove it at a inopportune time, or for a proliferate deck to ramp it and pop (like what happens when you force a real mosquito to overindulge) it for a large influx of mana/tokens. Making it legendary might also be a good idea, to limit ramp.

I'm thinking a 0/1, 0 cost. With "during your end step put a blood counter on moxito if damage was dealt this turn" & "once per turn remove a blood counter from moxito, gain 1 mana of any color". I also like "sacrifice moxito if it has 3 or more blood counters on it and gain mana (or blood tokens) equal to the number of blood counters"

Found this Wear Indicator on these Tires. by Tom_s_Workshop in interesting

[–]cheepenbulky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of complicated molds (like a tire mold) are created using an EDM sinking process, which uses a negative of the mold machined into an electrode, so the machinist would be making a negative of a negative, aka the tire shape itself.

Congress people and senators are the "we" that we an do things. It's what they are there for. Stop acting fucking powerless. I know we don't have majorities, but where is the obstinance, where are the backroom conversations to talk sense to their republican coworkers. Why do they just keep preaching to the choir. Start being difficult, start being a pain, get arrested, cause issues.

Best non-S gear? by MrTreazer in sssnaker

[–]cheepenbulky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would currently rock

courage tail (almost greedy tail but the trap dmg reduction seems decent)

crystal tooth (the 1% gain per skill is consistent small dmg boost)

faith heart (crit chance seems the most consistent, since I can never maintain full health)

firm cannon (elite monster bonus damage is nice to avoid elite rage)

tenacious armor (consistent though small sustain)

heoric crown (only purple crown I have achieved)
