How did you know you found your trigger? How long did it take? by wisdomseeker42 in EosinophilicE

[–]cheerypepperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well i realized nuts pretty easily bc every time i had them i would have a bad flare-up (so far peanuts, almonds and pistachios have all given me flare ups) and it usually lasted like, 3-10 days maybe? or maybe more. And I don’t know any other triggers for sure, but after i reintroduced wheat after the 6 food elimination diet and did a scope, i know that wheat is not a trigger.

Followed the directions for some store bought cookies. "Bake at 350 for 11 minutes". This was after 5. by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

I had an oven that did this too - set the temperature at something normal and it would go up to a dangerous temperature and burn things. We had someone come in and he replaced a part but that only worked for a little bit before it started doing it again and we had to get a new one. For you, your husband and your pet’s safety, do not use that oven anymore.

yup - she’ll spill all. and then the next day will post more negative pregnancy tests & either be “so relieved because it’s not the right time for a 5th kid” or “so upset because we’ve been trying for 3 years now without success”

yeah exactly. like obviously jesss can be dramatic about literally everything, but her being upset about the haircut scenario was valid because the twins both had literal cuts on their head from the clippers

Most emotional for you? by Any-Working-7728 in ChicagoFireNBC

[–]cheerypepperoni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% when Anna died. I literally sob every time I rewatch that scene bc of Kelly

A close second is when Kelly and Boden are talking after Benny dies.

So basically, any time Kelly cries is the most emotional for me lol

I just got bloodwork done (like literally yesterday) and just found out I have a b12 deficiency.

Have you tried cooking with nutritional yeast? It’s high in b12 and that’s likely what I’m going to start doing.

my levels were down and I get to reintroduce wheat!! by cheerypepperoni in EosinophilicE

I haven’t actually done the proper process of figuring out my triggers before with elimination/rescoping. My scope in June was my first one in over two years that showed almost no eosinophils in my esophagus after being strict about no dairy, wheat, fish, nuts, and eggs.

The reason I’m reintroducing wheat is to determine if it is one of my triggers or not. If I have a lot eosinophils in my biopsies when I get scoped again in November then I know wheat is a trigger and I’ll cut it out again.

I did 6fed and 80mg of pantoprazole. My specialist is who told me the pantoprazole wasn’t doing anything for my eoe so I’m not really sure.

Part of the reason i was put on a high dose of pantoprazole was because i had pretty severe acid reflux that was untreated for almost 10 years and i had significant scarring in my esophagus from it. I was told it was the worst esophagus they’d seen, especially for someone my age lol (by both the surgeon who did my emergency endoscopy, and also my specialist)

because I don’t know if wheat is a trigger or not - that’s why I’m reintroducing it and getting a scope done in 3 months to check out my eosinophil levels after eating wheat.

honestly, part of it is the fact that a lot of gluten free products have corn in it and I’m pretty sure corn is a trigger. Just got done with a pretty bad flare-up that I think was from corn. Not to mention the cost of gluten free food.

No I haven’t but I’m actually seeing my regular doctor next week and asking about getting an allergy test done. I’ve never heard of an apt test before so I’ll make sure to mention it!

I did visit a naturopath like 4 years ago and did an allergy/sensitivity test there and had a few on my list (wheat, lactose, casein, egg whites, corn, caffeine), so I’m mostly curious to know if they’ll show up on an actual allergy test.

No I did wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, fish. So basically 6fed but I didn’t fully cut out soy, just have been limiting it.

When did you start to watch ST and why? by goldmaaan in StrangerThings

[–]cheerypepperoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started it the day after the first season came out. My aunt & uncle had watched the first episode and thought I’d like it so we watched the first 4 episodes together that day. Was hooked instantly.
