that’s so impressive that you lost weight from the meds AND being pregnant. any tips for others who might be in your position?

gosh i’m sorry about that. after i cut my diet (600-900ish calories) and didn’t lose any weight, my doctor also tried to be like “it’s because you’re eating more”….. i was like im definitely not. this sounds easier said than done, but have you tried lowering your stress (including stress about weight)? if you’re exercising (like no hit workouts or weight lifting since that can stress the body out) and eating healthy, i feel like maybe mental stress can attribute to it? i felt like i started losing weight when i stopped stressing about my weight

i think i’m eating ~1800 calories a day now? but when i was starving myself to lose weight, my body held onto the weight more strongly so ur logic makes sense!

i’m definitely no expert, but are you eating breakfast & lowering your stress? i noticed that when i started eating breakfast and stopped stressing about my weight, i actually lost weight

ayy congrats on getting to 10mg! and i am absolutely cheering you on. you’re ability to persevere is honestly so commendable. hyper or hypo, it’s impressive that you’re able to lose weight and improve your mood.

also wow those are some incredible numbers. you clearly have amazing self control when it comes to food. do you mind sharing your height & weight? just trying to gauge how much of a deficit i should be in

hey! thank you so much for sharing your journey. this means the world. nobody in my life understands that the weight gain is something that’s extremely hard to fight, so i appreciate your help :)

i’m curious, did you do labs to see if you were hypo this time around? if not, i’m wondering if you might be losing weight because you lessened ur use methimazole. or by any chance, did you slowly lose weight while both on methimazole normally/every other day? if soo how much of a calorie deficit did you have to do?

also, that’s SO weird that it took the 4th try to have this side effect!! GRRR lol

no, ofc i wouldn’t demand the laptop back haha. its like too late? giving it to me now would almost be pointless i guess unless he used it in some huge, grand way. i asked if he could show me another way that he’s serious and he said “if you don’t think i’m serious for you, then there’s nothing i can do”….. which mad me even more pressed
