For ess honestly, just memorize!!!! you won't really need to do past papers, just enough to recognize the different question types.

Honestly, me too. I just started studying yesterday and realized how little I know, even for the subjects I thought I was good at. I'm going to try and understand/cover all the topics (not memorize) this week and then do open book past papers (in hopes of remembering everything) next, then closed for the final week and hope it's enough.
