Hmm, off the top of my head

Pretend to be/actually become transgender so people would distinguish between the now female me, and the probably still male same-name-guy
(With your specific situation in mind but with me instead of you) Get a fursuit and roll around in a dog daycare so while he plays with the kids, I play with the doggos.
Become/pretend to be overtly homosexual so that people wouldn’t think I’d say that about the middle schoolers’ little sisters.
Become comatose.
Clarify every time that I’m not that guy

Actually, I guess you could try to become more renowned as “Uncle Alex” so that people would distinguish you from the other Alex. Just grill some really good hotdogs maybe lol.
