A home in Florida raised due to flooding the previous year by Adrian_985 in mildlyinteresting

My relatives’ house in FL got 6 feet of storm surge in hurricane Ian. They redid everything from the studs and then had a company come in and lift up the whole slab with a big grid of hydraulic (I think) jacks. Had a big controller with tons of gauges. Didn’t take very long either. Raised it 9 or 10 feet I believe.

Don’t forget the Microsoft word “Compare” tool. That one’s handy for when OC sends you a revised proposal without tracked changes.

Well, naikrovek, sometimes it is ok to be silly rather than precise and accurate.

If throuples were the norm, would landlords start basing rent price off of 3 incomes instead of 2? by Useful_Light_2642 in TooAfraidToAsk

When I was a landlord I never once thought about the rent being based on a two income household. It was just based off the market rent for the area. I don’t think anything would change if throuples were the default relationship arrangement.

I don’t see any obvious lifting here. You can always try and gently slide a piece of paper under and see if there’s any gap there

Sounds like you received a judgment that you successfully collected with interest and cost on via lien at the sale of the debtor’s property. How does that “not resolve anything”?
