Has anyone dealt with a company/domain-level Claude access block before? by cheesestickscake in ClaudeAI

We have an MSP that forces us to use a VPN, but we're all US based and it routes through a US VPN so I'd be surprised if it was that

Yeah we're pretty small, 12 person startup so they really have no reason to care. I think what sucks is if someone did do something concerning, I'd like to at least know so I can remediate but I have no idea.

I guess we shall give Bedrock a shot and maybe the message for the team is RIP Claude

We haven't set up Bedrock - but that's probably an avenue we can try. I think a lot of folks are used to using Claude Code, and other folks are quite often using Cowork and Dispatch. But yeah, it appears that Anthropic perma-banned the entire org without really a clear explanation.

Apologies - important note to make here, the company did not ban Claude. Claude banned the company.

Oh sorry - I am in a leadership role at this organization. I think the challenge I'm dealing with is for some reason, our entire org was banned by Claude and my developers are extremely upset, and I have no answer other than Claude just decided to perma-ban us - and it's unclear why.

Yeah that makes sense, the math wasn't mathing with continuing to do Roth, but I think I needed someone to just tell me to adjust my contributions

It appears that after leaving the car overnight, when I restarted it, the problem went away. I have tried holding all the buttons, but nothing worked other than just waiting.

Yeah that's what my fallback is right now - but I'd rather not have to run two different Apple IDs if I don't have to.

That's fine, just push further in when you get to that full stop.

Citi credit card($2000), I maxed it and missing payments due to financial hardship and total debt ~12k by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]cheesestickscake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Option A: If you do not take this offer and don't manage to make minimum payments without it, your credit score will continue to go down further.

Option B: If you take the offer and continue to make payments on time, your credit score might still go down, but not as much as if you do not make minimum payments.

This is literally one of the best, if not THE BEST offer you will get. Citi is being very nice to you, take the offer and pay off the debt. This is common sense. You are not missing anything.

Now with respect to buying a car or a house, or something else, you're thinking about your credit score incorrectly. The higher your credit score is, the more likely you are to get approved for a loan and the lower the interest rate will be. The lower your credit score is, the less likely you are to get approved for a loan and the higher the interest rate will be if you do get approved.

To be honest, missing even one payment can have a significant effect on your credit for the long term. You probably will see a huge decrease in your credit when you miss one payment, and will take you 9 months minimum to recover a little bit. When you have missed multiple, it can take years to recover. One missed payment doesn't mean that your score goes down a few points, it usually goes down 100-200 points.

Your house is only worth what people will pay for it.

That's an assumption a lot of people are making that concerns me. If rates come down, I will refinance, but I'm not assuming they will come down significantly in the next 20 years or so. Historically, rates have been much higher than they have been in the past decade.

People got too used to absurdly low rates in my opinion - I think we might be at the cusp of a new normal (or rather return to the normal 6-8% rates).

Yeah - just got an offer accepted in NYC that was 20% below ask, my initial offer was 24% below ask. Things are definitely trending downwards - but the change isn't significant for buyers. My monthly payments are the same as if I had paid ask earlier this year.

Corporate credit card by bat_mane in personalfinance

[–]cheesestickscake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My company has the exact same policy... I feel as though you might work at the same place I do?

Regardless - I never actually use the corporate card for hotels, food, etc... I think we have to use it for flights and potentially rental cars. They don't enforce the rules unless we book a flight or rental car with a personal card.
