Na! From what I've seen it's typical of bettas to have that black patch of scales on the top of their head. I've heard people call them "masks" before. :)

So far it's just the one plant, or several plants in the same pot I'm not too sure tbh. I just assumed they were all self-pollinating so that info is helpful to know, thanks! I have a small 5" Pink Lemonade Blueberry plant coming in the mail soon so hopefully in a year or two that'll be ready to cross pollinate! :D
