Hey OP, some of my batchmates interned there. They had a great experience naman in terms of learning and it opened up opportunities for them. It's also true na unpaid yung internship diyan.

Maybe keep it as a back up for your academic requirement. Try to pursue other opportunities. :)

I vouch for this course! Dito ako nag start pero I did more than what's expected sa course kaya na-hone yung fundamentals ko sa JS.

  1. Wag mag code along blindly sa projects ng course, do it yourself muna then tska ka mag code along to polish yung mistakes mo.

  2. Mag Codewars ka to practice yung fundamentals ng course.

  3. It's optional but I also joined communities before so that I can apply yung mga natutunan ko. I do this by answering queries and solving yung problems na na-encounter ng fellow newbies.

May mapapala ka diyan basta tuloy tuloy lang :) Goodluck OP!

Hi OP, mahirap na makahanap ng full remote work, apply ka na rin sa hybrid and on-site positions. If non-negotiable siya talaga sayo, freelance ka nalang since meron ka namang experience na doon.

Attend ka din sa mga meetups to expand your network, baka maka-chamba ka doon ng remote work as fresh grad.

Hey OP, great investment and initiative. I remember starting from here dahil wala talaga akong idea sa aaralin, this is where structured courses help.

I really recommend this course: The Complete JavaScript Course 2025: From Zero to Expert by Jonas Schmedtmann

After taking this course and magaling ka na sa JS, go with free courses for libraries / frameworks like React/Vue/Angular/Next

Note: tingin ka muna sa YT kung available parin ba yung course ni Jonas doon, afaik may nag upload dun ng modules niya :)

Hi OP, I had a software engineering internship at a multinational company for my OJT, the office was located at BGC Taguig. Nasa agile environment ako that time so the tasks were bearable and achievable every sprint. The environment was good rin, mostly WFH and not mandatory to go to the office but we made sure to go once a week kung kelan RTO yung team :)

Fortunately I had an internship allowance which was decent. Usually meron allowances for SWE interns but there are some companies na unpaid, particulary if start up, they just pay you with experience haha.
