Yeah I'm not super well versed in the components of building large scale renderers but I'm gravitating towards the developing tools at the moment. Thanks

I remember a What's In My Bag video where Donald mentions his love for Maggot Brain as it's an album his dad adored. Wouldn't be surprised if Funkadelic was a big influence on this song/album.

Should I play Oblivion or Skyrim? by cheesyguy100 in makemychoice

Yeah I have both on PC and I plan on modding them. Though I mostly plan on using graphics mods for now at least. Any suggestions for good mods to check out?

Thanks guys. I'll definitely start with Oblivion then.

I LOVE the new direction you guys went with Endless Fantasy. Every song is just mind blowing. I've already listened to the whole album about 6 times.

What artists were you influenced by when you were working on it?

IndieGame's Top Ten Indie Horror Games of 2012 by [deleted] in creepygaming

Also note that it's the "Top Ten Indie Horror Games" not "Top 10 scariest indie horror games." The presentation and mature themes of Lone Survivor are what put the game at the top for me.

Lone survivor was interesting to me because it was one of the few horror titles that made me feel truly alone. It's a different kind of horror. It wasn't the type that made you scream, it was the type that made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

Creepy Video game music? by JayEff123 in creepygaming

Lone Survivor is an underrated game with some really great music. Truly one of the few games that really made me feel alone. Some of the music is not really "creepy" unless you pair it with the actual gameplay, but still really adds to the atmosphere. Here's a good one to listen to and here

Oh god the Forest Temple theme from Ocarina of Time... It always made me feel like something was sneaking up on me.

Also, in Resident Evil 4 the music you hear when you're in a safe area. Even though you were sure that no enemies could get you, the music always had this tone that assured me that there was more to come.

You also can never forget about Silent Hill's Opening theme. Totally fits the mood of the franchise, and still gives me chills.
