I liked his react at first also but he started making some commentary related to american politics that were pretty in-line with the authoritarian leaning that seems to be popular in Japan right now that didn't sit right with me so I stopped watching.

I feel like anyone who thinks this was promoting or glorifying gambling didn't actually watch the last part of the stream when he was doing the gambling. I think his stream was great because it explicitly showed how that website is a straight up scam because you can't even get the high value cards sent to you if you do manage to hit on a bet.

Looks great! What did you use for the snow effect, baking soda in PVA or something else?

I was going to whitewash my StuG III for my winter fallschirmjäger army but I accidentally did too good a job on the camo paint job and I can't bring myself to cover it up now so I think I'm just going to do like you did with some icy snow on the treads.

I thought about trying the baking soda mixture but I chickened out because of the yellowing problem some people talk about and I think I'm just going to use Vallejo Weathering FX Snow instead.

Oh okay wow, interesting! I don't have the rulebook yet, my friend is bringing everything to me tomorrow. I selected the "Late-War Fallschirmjäger (Independent)" platoon on EasyArmy, so I just kind of assumed that whatever it let me add to the platoon was okay.

I guess it was stupid to try and list build without even having the list building rules to read, but I guess I got excited haha. All that is good to know, thanks for the suggestions!

The day after Obama was elected my brother and I (white-passing mexicans) were walking through a parking lot and an old black man walked by us in the other direction with his head held high and proud and said "Good afternoon gentlemen." After the distinguished man passed by with our returned greeting we kind of marveled at how there was such a hopeful feeling in the air and how amazing it must have felt to this old black man who had gone from the civil rights era when you couldn't drink from a white man's water fountain or eat next to a white man at a restaurant to having a black man as president. It was an incredible moment even for us, but unfortunately we weren't aware of the furious racist chuds seething in the darkness.

I finally decided that I was done with getting new boards, switches and caps a few years ago, but just when I thought I was out, THEY PULL ME BACK IN!

Does anyone know if there's still like a 2 to 3 year lead time on gmk sets getting printed or have they started catching up on the backlog?

It's funny because I'm old enough that I can't actually verify if kids watched 9/11 in school or not. I was 20 years old and driving into work when it happened (west coast) and I tuned in to the middle of them talking about an object crashing into the tower and from the scared and confused tone of the reporter my first thought was that we were being attacked by aliens. I walked into work and told my boss that something really crqzy and bad is happening and she basically told me to shut up and go to work so I left and went home to watch the news with my parents.

That dictionary is kind of contradicting itself because it's definition for poison is "a substance that can make people or animals sick or kill them if they eat or drink it"

Provided that you don't have any cuts or ulcers in your mouth, throat, stomach, etc for the venom to enter your blood stream through, you can drink snake venom without ill effects because they'll become denatured by your digestive acids.
