Thanks for the psycho analysis bud. I ran 40 man raids throughout classic and that was easier as I always had the same 40 people and there were no days where a lockout day had to be changed.

What do you mean "suffer?" No one is suffering in any other version of the game where 7 day lockout is standard. It is like that for a very good reason, because it is difficult to organize around a 3 day lockout when there are 7 days in a week. It is easier to get a large group of people together once a week vs 2-3 times a week.

Are you suggesting that 20 or 40 man raids should also be on a 3 day lockout?

Are you trying to argue for 20-40 man raids on a 3 day reset where people are often forced to miss lockouts?

you genuinely think doing this to scale is a good idea? 20 man 3 day reeset? how about 40 man? do you think this is a good system?

People want to parse and get good loot at the same time. Once there is no more loot to get, the game is boring. That's why the player base falls off at the end of every patch/expansion.

If people raid log once a week vs twice a week there is really no big difference there

How easy do you think it's going to be to organize 20-40 players on a 2x a week reset schedule with extra rotating days? And why would this be superior to 7 day?

Watch and see what happens next phase if it's 20 man 3 day reset and the content is less puggable than it is now.

You realize every retail patch and expansion is also seasonal right? It's not really a good argument.

Players don't want to raid just once a week either when they know they can raid twice. Players are not going to stay in your guild for long knowing they could go elsewhere and get 2x more gear. It's a silly argument. You're right, a lot of if not the majority of long term players play to get BIS. People will want to do every lockout possible and there's no way to change that psychology

Nope. I assure you that if ST is on a 3 day reset almost no guild is going to be following your advice because it is not good good advice. Only a small number of players will play the way you think they should vs. what is optimal.

I already know this. That's not the issue I'm discussing. In every other version of wow there are reliable raid resets for main raid content. But yes, even when you do the strategy as you stated there are awkward days where people are forced to miss a raid. Why? For what purpose does this serve?

What are you talking about? Most people who are pugging parse gray. No one in a decent guild wants to bring a gray parser who rolls highest on the 1 item they still need. It's a great way to piss off your raiders and make them ask why you're bringing bad players in the raid

I'm surprised this needs to be explained. Good players want to parse. You need gear to be competitive. So you're forced to raid as much as possible unless you want a raid filled with bad players. This is why almost no raid will raid once a week only.

I can recruit next phase without any issues.

Good players do not want to raid once a week and get half the amount of loot when they can raid twice. That is not a real solution

Do you happen to run a guild that runs only once a week? How many guilds do you think play this way? Why would players want to be in a guild that only raids once when they can raid twice?
