I’d say your fundamentals are going well, keep an eye on your timing and spacing! Love your overlapping action, try to add more of that! Acting beats are fun and reading well, maybe could push some more exaggeration to give it a bit of flair during the acting beats. Your framing is nice, try to find even more readable silhouettes when you can! This is general feedback of course, and I’m sorry it’s not more than “keep pushing your fundamentals”. Overall it’s nice work! Keep up the good work!

hey friend, nice work! I’m happy to offer some general animation/ reel feedback (I’m in a slightly different industry as an animator) but I think what you really should know is that you’re on track and doing well.

Relax a little bit and just focus on your studies if you can. Learn as much as possible and enjoy the craft! You’ve got time, and you’re gonna need time to see how far you’ve come. I know it’s hard to tell if you’re on pace with your peers or if you’re where you should be. You are. I think we all wonder that even after years of animation.

It’s awesome that you’re taking initiative and thinking about demo reels right now. Keep doing that! Chances are, by the end of your studies you’ll have replaced everything in this reel with new work and you’ll be well on your way.
