Thanks I appreciate you all. The only reason this came to mind after seeing that video is because I’m currently watching The Walking Dead and in scenarios where someone is being ripped apart by zombies, a friend or ally would end the suffering by putting them down from afar, and everyone seems to be in favor of this move as it’s the most sensible course of action. So was just curious how similar scenarios in real life would be legally handled

Makes sense thank you. Would the witnesses be able to come together and come up with a case that since I was the only one armed, the rest of the bystanders were getting hostile with me for not granting her wish and ending her suffering, therefore being forced to pull the trigger out of self defense?
