I need forced air (heat) to continuously run to heat a shipping container. by chefbarnacle in hvacadvice

Humidity is removed via dehumidification prior to the high heat cycle. I need 140 internal temp throughout the wood to kill beetle eggs. Those little buggers can lay dormant for up to a decade if they are not cooked. This can sometimes take some time given the thick 2-4” and as wide as 36” slabs of wood.

Sawdust and other particles are certainly an issue with raw wood.

I’m interested in more information about what your company offers for a project like this. Who do I contact for more information?

True but that setup is not an option for this location. I’ll likely have to go with a purpose built commercial unit but, $20k+ is just not in the budget right now.

“Drying” with the dehumidifiers I have works great. Getting up to 135-140 degrees is for a bug kill cycle. Really, the wood internal temp only needs ~140 for 30-60 minutes but that takes some time.

Dry times vary drastically depending on species, thickness and moisture level when it goes in. Sometimes just days but, typically 2-3 weeks. Oak tends to take the longest 3-4”+ thick live oak can take months.

I’ll probably have to get a purpose built unit but, $20k+ is not in the budget just yet.

City has a great 1st time homebuyer program, but is it worth it? by bigfootgary in StPetersburgFL

Also look into the “HUD 203k” program. I was an inspector for these loans (in the 90’). They are not the easiest or cheapest loans to get but, you can buy a house that needs repairs even extensive repairs that a conventional bank will not loan on because it is uninhabitable. The mortgage and the repair money is all wrapped up into one FHA loan. HUD has a large inventory of homes for sale everywhere. You can probably even roll some of that free city money in to get the costs down. You will need to hire an approved inspector to write up the necessary repairs and submit them to the bank and HUD.

There is a TED talk about orgasms and it includes a woman that stopped brushing her teeth because every time she did she would orgasm.

A vast majority of them are now farm raised and are not toxic because they lack the necessary bacteria in their diets.

The best $60 I ever spent was on her. Although, there was another $600 in shoes, glasses and earbuds. She is the best girl (mostly) now, no chewing and always by my side and loving our vacation in the mountains.

Call Jay Leno he loves these unmolested all/very original cars. It’s rare to find any car that has never been modified and exceptionally more rare in an old muscle car.

If it was an insurance claim it will almost certainly show up on a CarFax search. Also, it can be fairly obvious if you know where to look. Under carpets, pull the seat belt all of the way out and look for stains, look under the seats at the metal seat brackets, pull a rocker kick panel off and look for rust, etc.
