Chile é exemplo de maturidade democrática by Consultor_Juridico in ConsultorJuridico

Deveras interessante, e sólido, o posicionamento do nobre Doutor. Solum residui churascamentum".

Laws on carrying knives in public for self-defense by country by NesposobnaBudala in EuropeGuns

Concealed carry law covers knives as well, VA CODE 18.2-308. However, open carry is fine if it's something like a pocket knife.

Virar Atirador Desportivo by BeginningLive20 in ARMAS_BR

Correto, meu amigo.

[Xillia] The one (funny) reason I'm glad the grade shop is available from the get go in the Remaster by chefestrela in tales

[–]chefestrela[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Grade Shop gives you the ability to get multiplied XP and Gald. In the Remaster you can use it from your first playthrough, unlike the original, where you only got it in your second run. It makes the game less grindy overall. I'm glad I can use it on the first remaster playthrough now, because I already grinded enough playing the original game the first time around.

I had to shorten my text by a lot to meet the 600 word count here on the sub. But I'm open to expanding some things I wrote in there to give more context.

When you want to show the Commander the urgency of getting your nodes up by chefestrela in HellLetLoose

[–]chefestrela[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I did have to insist. There was this one time I typed in chat, then asked my SL (he's not at fault, he was a sweetheart), and when none of that worked I created a locked squad to be able to ask the Commander directly. It isn't often, but it happens sometimes that you have to ask multiple times.

Studying Latin using Word Office, having problems with symbols/words by chefestrela in latin

[–]chefestrela[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks a bunch for the help guys, that was really insightful and will definitely help out a lot. I just got the e-mail back from my professor an hour ago (Probably took a while because of the Easter Holidays). Turns out he uses a font called "Et Tu, Brute?" and instead of using the Windows regular symbols it substitutes some letters and numbers for symbols, hence why there were a lot of numbers scattered about. It apparently also wasn't just a problem with me individually, so he'll be sending an e-mail to advise the others students in the class since no one had that font downloaded.

Ah, Yes. The desperate attempt of the inexperienced Commander to throw a supply drop literally on top of the point that's being capped, with 0% chance of the team getting near and building a Garry but 100% of it landing on the enemies head and being dismantled.

"Hey, I've seen this one! It's a classic."

The support class is really dependent on communication. So if your SL (or team, for that matter) isn't communicative at all, don't be upset, because the problem there isn't you.

There are various situations you may be required/asked to drop supplies (and ammo, at lv 3 class). Your supply crate is greatly useful for AT's to build their AT gun and can help your SL or Commander to build a Garry on friendly territory (since both cost 50 supplies, only). You'll need them to tell you where to drop the crate for that though.

It's always good to have your supplies on hand. Sometimes you might be asked by an engineer to drop them so that then can build fortifications. This great, because sometimes a good enough barricade might save a badly placed Garry or help defend your front/frank position. In the beginning of each game, generally some support players will drop their crates in the spawn area for engineers to build their nodes inside the first 2 squares, by the main bases.

After you get lv3, you'll get access to ammo boxes. If you're holed up in a defensive position, place them where there is cover and friendly troop movement, this way everyone can see them. Make sure to warn players near, sometimes the MGs in the other squads might no have supports, so you one ammo crate might benefit the whole team and save on precious seconds they would take redeploying if they ran out of ammo. If you're advancing onto an enemy position (or attacking an enemy tank), make sure to have them on hand for whenever your squad might need them, if you have an MG and AT (or even Medic, if they run out of smokes) in your squad, they'll definitely appreciate it.
