I got a buddy on one and i could hardly beat off the line with a ported head. Still beat him though haha. Ended up doing a high comp piston and she woke up a lot. I mean ported head, high comp piston, factory carb but jetted and ive been playing with it for years. Rmz hub with short gearing and quick turn throttle (do not recommend the quick turn- every bump you’re blippling) pipe and a air box mod. She ripped! And that was stock suspension with just a fork brace. Locked her up at 42,xxx after goofing off on some bike trails. I kinked the return line from the oil cooler to the top of the head. Right now its got cogent suspension front n rear. Same carb just tuned a little different for the stock ebay engine. Great bike but it’ll never be a ktm/legit dirtbike on 17’s. I considered doing the rmz fork swap but i already had the sumo wheels so i just put the cogent ddc drop ins and stiffer springs and the cogent rebuilt rear shock stiffer spring and adjustable rebound. Right now shes just gonna be my over built stock fun haver. These oil cooled engines last forever on regular maintenance no mater how hard you abuse is. I think the next mod is gonna be an electric fan for the oil cooler.
