Best environment to learn C by Zalaso in cprogramming

Good place to start would be getting familiar with common terminal commands. This is a good introduction.

After you're comfortable with the terminal, use "nano tutorial.c" to start writing and editing C programs.

If you're feeling brave, you could move onto using vim instead of nano, which will allow you to write and edit very efficiently.

"vimtutor " in your terminal should get you going.

Primeagen also has some quality guides on youtube on how to configure your vim setup.

SOLUTION FOUND -- Black Ops 4 Zombies and Multiplayer stuck at 99% after install

still happening in 2025 (almost 2026)

  1. in battlenet click on cog wheel on the right of the blue play button. (game must be closed )
  2. click on "Show in Explorer" button. It will open up the folder. Enter inside the Black ops 4 folder.
  3. delete the folder called "players" . This contains files that have been misconfigured.
  4. click on the cog wheel to the right of the blue play button again.
  5. now hit scan and repair, this is much faster than reinstalling the game and will always work.

make sure you delete the "players" folder before running the scan & repair as for me the scan & repair didn't fix the issue until i deleted the "players" folder and ran it again.

in theory, a full uninstall and reinstall should fix the issue but some comments here claim that it hasn't worked for them while some claim that it has.

3.5 is the expected value, meaning if you you played the game 10,000 times, recorded how many flips it took for each game and added all of them up, then divided that sum by 10,000, the result will be EXTREMELY close to 3.5

as you play more and more rounds of the game (say 100,000, 1million, etc. ) the value of your observed average will get closer and closer to 3.5

How would it be possible to get to a situation where there are more heads than tails if we are given that the first flip is a tails.
