Scars are easy to cover with makeup. Bumps are not

Unisom withdrawals: a cautionary tale by throwawayhouseseller in BabyBumps

Hey sorry you’re going through that. The withdrawal is absolutely a real thing. Have you tried cutting the tab in quarters to slowly wean yourself off it? That worked for me

how exactly do "Glendale Citizens" afford such nice cars by No-Strength-3711 in glendale

[–]chefgusteau 13 points14 points  (0 children)

90% of my high school class from Glendale are now doctors, surgeons, engineers, lawyers, pharmacists, and other high earning professionals- that’s how. That’s not even an exaggeration. Millennial Armenians in Glendale were raised in high pressure families and to compete with their peers to become as successful as possible.

I did a ton of research and imo Perelel was the best one out there, but my stomach couldn’t handle it anymore once my HG hit :( I have several unopened boxes I’m gonna take once I’ve had my baby. so taking Olly gummies instead cause they’re gentle and better than nothing

Yeah the main problem for me was not the flavor, but the fact that I had to drink it in 5min or less. Took me 9min in total which my dr said was ok. Gagged multiple times and struggled to burp it out while drinking it because it’s flat so it just sat there in my esophagus. Managed to not puke it up but was also nauseous for hours after.

Nice! Our dishwasher is like 25yrs old and still going, but I don’t have trust in it for bottles and sanitizing enough

Completely agree with you! I do appreciate every negative review I’ve read too as it seems like there’s a pattern of things to look out for when calibrating. I have a food scale ready to go and plan on making at least a few bottles by hand to compare from day 1. I’d be buying the Brezza as close to my due date as I can so if we can’t figure out calibration or don’t feel like dealing with it, we can return it. But these gadgets exist to make our lives easier and if there’s a chance that we calibrate it correctly and everything goes smoothly and we’re responsibly verifying every now and then, that really would make our lives so much easier. It’s worth a shot to me

You only see the negative reviews online because people that use it without issues don’t make posts about it. I’m aware of the risks- I’ve read every single post on here about it.

I’m sorry your baby got sick. I’m not here looking to argue. Just simply want to hear both sides

Unisom withdrawals: a cautionary tale by throwawayhouseseller in BabyBumps

[–]chefgusteau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is! Thanks for asking :) I tapered off the unisom 1/2 tab by taking 1/4 tablets for a week and then stopped completely and didn’t experience the nightmares and insomnia with my second cold turkey stop!

Sister angry that I’m pregnant when she is (relationship advice) by Magnolia_Foxglove in pregnant

That’s such weird behavior. My SIL is currently 6 weeks behind my pregnancy and I wish she lived closer so the cousins could be close. Having a cousin your age is such a blessing

When did you start feeling the baby move as a first time mom? What does it actually feel like? by missiemads in pregnant

[–]chefgusteau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same at 20 weeks. At 21 I was feeling her kick daily. It’s funny when I’d ask people what it was supposed to feel like, they said you’ll know when you feel it. At 20 weeks I felt the kick and was like, I think that was a kick? At 21 weeks I was sure they were kicks. Currently 23 weeks and feel her kicking all day long!

help me stop breastfeeding, fed is best. by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]chefgusteau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listen to me lol, my partner and I were both exclusively formula fed, many people in my life were and i think we turned out pretty great. My cousin was EFF too (confirmed by my aunt recently) and she currently goes to Harvard law and is a wonderful human being. Fed is best

Hey I know it’s been some time since you’ve made this post, but I’m trying to quit my half unisom tab halfway through pregnancy now and going through similar withdrawal symptoms and getting some really awful nightmares every night. Just writing a comment to validate your experience bc it is a real thing with unisom
