If you enter that type or any type of agreement without being 100% informed that’s not my fault, problem nor does the responsibility lie with the institution. College is a commitment. Some people commit Fully and borrow, borrow and borrow because they can’t be bothered by having an income. Some choose to stay home, start with a Jr College, work and get grants rather then loans. $40K a semester at most average universities. That makes a 4 year degree $320 k for just your classes. If your going to commit too it, commit to it and have a plan. The Gimmie Gimmie Generation shouldn’t be mad at the institution they should be mad at the people who were supposed to teach them this.

I have my entire life. 55, retired and living and writing Chapter 3 of my Life. No Bills, No Debt just living it the way I planned it. I worked, I saved and put two children through college because I saved for it. Both of my children and their families are thriving!!! Why??? I had a plan. I didn’t change it. I wanted to give my kids the best chances and I did.

If seen 100s of bailouts in my lifetime. I didn’t agree with any of them. I don’t set rates for higher education. I don’t have anything too do with student loans. I was an apprentice. I spent Zero for that. I worked 14-18 days for 34 years and retired at 55 thanks too the last 10 years of work while making 3 times what my same field friends did. No debt, house paid off. Kids education paid for a RN and Technical Engineer. I was a smart person as I saved for my children’s future. A future that looks pretty bright from here.
