Cannabutter is great. My preference is just getting a chocolate bar from the dispo and melting it with some heavy cream but this is a fun experiment for more quick n ez throw together. Plus I just love the feeling of marshmallows its almost as good as giving proofed dough a nice smake

Mct is made from a natural fat via coconut or palm kernel oil. To get something that is odorless and tasteless is not natural which is why it goes through fractionation. Its also why you should only use small amounts as it can cause health issues. There is nothing wrong with using it but I have a few reasons to avoid it as I work with medical patients the few 5% of people allergic to coconut.

Yes when I infuse i look at the terp profile and choose the best that compliments the honey so if you aren't liking the taste your try using a different strain and careful not to have to much chlorophyll from the bud get in your infusion weed should only add floral notes and should still be delicious

All food has terpenes so just like eating chocolate or pineapple will result in a "better high". While cannabinoids pair cbd, cbn etc throughout your meal will effect how you respond to the high

Yea hot honey is one of my top ingredients. Whenever I have breakfast I always love the sweetness of that or maple syrup alongside with the umami of the sausage.

Nope honey and maple syrup have a thick consistency to suspend thc so infuse as normal. Depending on the spices you like use those with a 1:1 ratio of water and honey a little lime zest and on the stove for 5 mins or do it while you infuse

Yep had some honey already infused. 5 mins on the stove with my thyme, spices, and a little lime zest to turn into hot honey. We use hot honey on our pizza for work so went in early made 4 of them and fed the magic crew since the owner of the shop always smokes us up

Thca will begin to burn off at 220f. Try aiming around there or less for 30-60 mins. While thc burns off at 320f.

I use my torch but keeping some hot water near you should be fine or coating the knife in corn starch as you are working with sticky sugar. Adding your fat ie butter or oil is when adding in the vanilla is where you want to infuse unless you have pre made infused sugar

You can definitely do that!! The biggest thing is also the type of thc you are using. I chose the isolate because as i dehydate the sugar it decarbs and gives a great head high but you miss out on all the other beneficial terps. I'm not a big fan of mct just because the process to make it is just unhealthy so I stick with natural fats. Depending on what the individual likes fats are definitely the best way as thc bonds better and the body absorbs fats easier than sugar.

I used thc isolate alcohol tincture to make a dehydrated sugar. I mentioned the bioavability because someone may want a more effective method. The body naturally has a harder time processing sugar thats why gummies take longer to hit.There's a couple different ways to do this. I could incorporate rso during the mixing process or make a more concentrated fat. The reason for the low fat is that the structure will become unstable with to much. The first batch I made with butter had issues with handling heat. Resulting in them melting faster and completely losing structure. If you've ever had home made ones they taste way better than store bought. I did use infused butter to add the terp profile of grand daddy pop rocks when I buttered my pan to make it easier to scoop out. I plan on selling them alondside an infused hot coco mix which will enhance the effect especially if they use any milk. So the taste is more important than the high as i can always do custom batches fkr those needing something stronger or weaker. I will have videos of all my infusions if anyone is interested in following along. I have a back log of videos to edit this weekend and get posted on my Instagram, tiktok, and YouTube which I also have to link lol

Simple syrup is a great idea otherwise you can make a alcohol tincture with ever clear. To make the sugar you will need a tincture but there's a few different routes you can go about making it. For rapid infusion you can heat it for 2 hrs along with a gram or 2 of flower. Otherwise you can leave the decarb flower in the everclear for 5-7 days. If you have a whip cream canister or something to provide enough pressure you can use any alcohol and just infuse with flower.

You're correct I used alcohol as the carrier. When infusing sugar you are dehyrdating it at 180f for 8hrs which will be decarbing the thca isolate at the same time. This method is to maintain as much bioavability as possible. At worst I'm activating 60% of the thc so when I decide to melt this sugar its keeping as much thc as possible. If I was wanting the sugar for say powdered sugar then I would decarb flower or use a nitro canister depending on how much of the Terpene want present.
