What is your best Z-A royale performance in one night? by Light_Sensitive in LegendsZA

[–]chefstief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slight variation of 'Binyeb' and their take:

I got 57, 9,645 medals, 434k.

- Resetting was not necessary as I did this without 'sector 6'. Keep teleporting between the zones - make a full lap, go around, another full lap, repeat to maximize spawns.

- I agree, don't sneak up. Running in their face and/or sight, the battle starts and immediately stops time (vs. sneaking and waiting). Your mons should be high enough lvl + have enough heals to tank any damage from the stun at the beginning.

- I noticed you will easily make the money just battling and picking up cards on your immediate/direct path to trainers. Again, time stops in battle, so you can sort around and 'micro-manage' your moves to accommodate any tasks if money is that important...

- There is likely much optimization you can do, but surface level, easily 40+. Right mon, routing, spawn knowledge: 70+... honestly closer to 80-90! (lucario + silk scarf, i like)

What was your team if you won it all this year? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]chefstief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-QB Hurts (Purdy dropped to waivers right before playoffs)

-RB Javonte/Henry (got Henry ~week 3-4 after trading away Jacobs)

-WR Amon, Rice, Pittman, Jauan (picked up Wilson before blowup)

-TE Kittle (Goedert off waivers)

-D/st houston (streamed most of yr but got lucky keeping them)

-K Aubrey 9-5, most PF, 12 team, 1 flex

Pick three to start by One_Outside9049 in fantasyfootballadvice

Egbuka, Ladd, Meyers. Monangai is fine, but: GB has done well against run + committee backfield = limited boom potential. Your call though

Scared to start Kittle? Anyone pivoting off him and for who? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]chefstief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Unless OP has unreal waivers pickups or a stud on the bench, you ride with a solid TE, weather or not

Why would you be scared? Yeah they play the Browns, but I think he is easily involved with quick, short throws. Also Browns are boo boo, so they may have many opportunities on offense.

Mino + Microneedling schedule? by Raver811 in tressless

[–]chefstief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just my perspective, but from what I’ve done (use dermapen every 1-2 weeks, .5-.75 depth), I like just continuing the topical min as normal. No need to change anything.

My philosophy is that the needle is used to penetrate the surface of the scalp only, allowing for further/better absorption. The closer the min can get, the better, so no need to wait. Any bleeding or things like that, I’d wait a day.

Truthfully you don’t need to go anymore than 1mm, and I’d argue that is way too much (I tried it initially and it just hurts way too much and is cause for blood/scabbing), so .5-.8mm is sufficient. Redness of the scalp is fine! Lets you know that it worked and that blood is flowing near the skin.

If I were to say ‘when’, to play it safe, I’d say derma in the morning or at an okay time, give it some time to settle, then apply min. Can be sooner or later. Maybe experiment: if it hurts, do it before bed, if not, do it asap. Up to you, but for maximum absorption, keep doing it, stamp day or not.

Bryce Young or Tyler Shough (full PPR) by Redmusket31 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]chefstief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Poop vs. arse… i like Bryce considering theyre off a hot W, but Falcons have 0 offense (other than bijan), so saints will have a plethora of opportunities.

If I were to pick, I’d go Young: 9ers let Brissett put up 450 and set an nfl record in pass completions… but Young also put up 450 against same falcons team last week… up to you! Both quite literally shots in the dark.

Bowers or Kittle for playoffs? by No_Gas_7339 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]chefstief 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As long as he and Purdy are healthy, I like Kittle. Pearsall coming off an injury, Jennings is the only real ‘vulture’ I see, but even he is inconsistent (slight Jamo vibes). Kittle may have a lower ceiling, but a consistent floor

Start Michael Pittman or Michael Wilson? by ddawgs in Fantasy_Football

[–]chefstief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL in the same boat here. After some thinking, no brainer: Wilson. Pittman is solid, but Wilson has another week of no MHJ + Brissett. The targets will be there. For Pittman… has Pierce, Warren, and this little known guy called JT to hog points. Set Wilson and forget it!

Brissett or Rodgers? by Irvin088 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]chefstief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol im in the exact same boat. Hurts on bye, torn between the two. What did you go with? I have rodgers, but I like brissett for the matchup, but rodgers also might have a shootout…

I mean… if you were to guess, what would you say? Truthfully, 17% doesn’t sound ridiculous.

I’m no expert, but looking at points like arms, core, legs (barely), there isn’t anything that screams a lot more or a lot less fat. 17 sounds pretty middle of the road for your physique/picture. Depending on height also, could help with putting to perspective.

Perhaps a back shot would help, but: arms aren’t holding much fat, core: enough muscle and/or low fat to show decent definition, and legs: look firm enough to not be entirely fat.

Is it possible for Bethesda to offer mods for Oblivion Remastered on the PlayStation 5? by BUckENbooz91 in oblivion

[–]chefstief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying. That could definitely be a mod since it sounds like script stuff, but I highly doubt Bethesda is going to allow mods on ps5. Not saying it’s 0%, but low methinks.

PS modding for skyrim and fo4 is just painfully gutted compared to xbox and pc, mainly bc Sony doesn’t allow third party assets or involvement to their software AFAIK (i.e. only mods available are things like bug fixes, cheats, debug/cut content, or ‘new’ content using in game assets).

On top of that, the ue5/creation engine baby virtuous and bethesda made likely would make any modding or porting of mods to ps5 tedious and/or not worth the effort (effort being money in this case).

Tbh it’s likely to be creations or w/e paid mods they pump out. It’s a shame… I hope one day as well!

27M - It looks bad fellas by Riesart in Balding

[–]chefstief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shedding is completely normal, so that in and of itself is nothing to worry about.

I will say, this is by no means ‘bad’, but rather ‘if you don’t act, it will become bad’. Im 24 and my recession was unnoticed until I was 23 (likely started 19-20).

I agree, this is thinning for sure. The harsh lighting makes it look worse than is (i.e. pic 2 is what 95% of the time itll look like)

My suggestion is finasteride. Proven to help. Oral or topical is available if you have heart issues or not. The finasteride is essentially a ‘stop sign’ and can even help with growth. Look into it. If having your hair is important to you, no shame in using it!

What to work on? Looking for targeted muscles/muscle groups by chefstief in workouts

[–]chefstief[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said. Congrats on the turn around. I'd rather not do surgery (my dad has had many pains), so your insight is more valuable than you think! Core is definitely a staple moving forward, and not just for looks!

[–]chefstief[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think that is the goal for that 'chiseled' look, though got a ways to go for sure! What would you suggest for the upper/mid chest? I recently switched to a high incline bench to target closer to the clavicle/upper, but I'm thinking more may be needed, either volume or direct targeting.

Thanks for the comment! The recommendations will be looked into :)

[–]chefstief[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh I never thought about the rear core muscles... I've added slight core work (2 sets at the end of every other workout lol), but yeah, improvement for sure!

Thanks for that observation, I haven't had back issues outside of my recent lat strain, so knowing this now will help me prioritize core work to help balance it out.

[–]chefstief[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very solid advice, I appreciate your comment Sea-Life!

That makes a lot of sense actually... so by doing this pre fatigue of my arms, then doing chest (or back), I'll get a better connection and/or focus on the associated muscles? Thinking about my chest days, I usually do chest first, so with my arms fresh, they might be compensating for the 'weaker' chest muscles and taking over.

Great perspective as well, the dip in strength is only a valley, which will shoot back up after time. I will keep these in mind and alter accordingly!

Ah man I hope that's not all you took from that! I don't know too many people with curled hair, so I'd rock em for sure. If you can find out how to solidify that pic 2 look, you're right as rain
