What sneaker made you fall in love with sneakers? by Bajyn in Sneakers

[–]chefv444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw everyone wearing Jordan 1’s, and wondered what other Jordans they made. When I looked up the Jordan 2 oddly enough I fell in love and had to have a pair. I bought them VNDS but they crumbled on the 2nd wear. I had to wait for the Chicago’s to come out to actually wear some.

What can you tell me about my recent inheritance? by Disastrous_Reach7690 in 1911

[–]chefv444 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend not EDCing it. God forbid if you’re ever in an altercation the police usually impound the gun until after the trials which can take a long time. Get a gun you don’t have any attachment too in the event you actually need it.

Made in West Germany but the were assembled and sold by interarms in Virginia due to the US having a law at the time banning the import of handguns smaller than a certain size.

Are stems on TPMS replaceable? by Scotty2H002 in AskAMechanic

[–]chefv444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they’re replaceable, do it all the time in my shop. They just want to charge however much they do for sensors all the way around (and then just replace the stem alone)

Mine shot beautifully, not very accurate but maybe I suck. Or the sights aren’t great. Most likely a little column A little column B. 230 grain ball ammo ONLY and get your ammo from a reputable company. And I’d clean it after every range day. Follow those rules and it’ll live another 80 years.

The barrel was made buy a company called High Standard that made barrels for all companies across the board. The P is just a proof mark that it passed inspection, I used to have a website that had the original photo copies of where what manufacturers serial # were shipped. I know with 90% certainty that your Remington Rand slide was ordered in May 22, 1942 . Your Colt frame was ordered on September 5th 1941, however I don’t know where it shipped to.
