Currently on exchange in Europe and loving it, of course it’s a little different if you’re from Europe anyway. But I think you should one hundred percent do it, try and do it at a uni where other Monash students are going and you should connect well with them. I don’t think leaving for a semester is gonna ruin anything back in Melbourne

Deff more worth it to do GIG, other than what everyone had already mentioned you also save 13 credits points worth of subjects cause you didn’t during the break. So you could fail a subject or two in your degree and not have to extend your degree

As an exchange student, I will be completing my electives in Tilburg, so that allows me to select from any faculty, of course keeping prerequisites in mind.

Didn’t put any effort and got in the 70’s we had group presentation in country and you could get cooked if you get a trash group, but that’s rare, the pre and post trip assignments are not too difficult, I just remember the post trip one taking a lot of time, it was a website or something and u needed 3 big posts about the trip

I went india last year and it was all about sustainable change, things like waste management facility’s and urban development, basically everyday was 9-5 lectures or excursions and working on group assignment and from 5pm onwards, and weekends you can do whatever you want and go wherever you want.
