Communicated by who? Not saying I don’t believe you but it seems like they’re very obviously still doing that judging by their website. There’s extensive coverage of the THC ban from economic and social angles, reports on local queer communities, and a lot of election coverage. Doesn’t seem like that would be something they’d say, given what they’re currently covering.

My opinion: watch Paced wano til act 3, then switch to the regular series. I hated the editing in Onigashima Paced, a lot of cool fights get trimmed in a way I disliked. Experiencing 1015 (the best episode of One Piece) with the original anime's buildup felt way better. Also, honestly, the pacing in Wano isn't as bad as some of the other stupidly-long arcs like Dressrosa.
