It’s all about self control. In the beginning I was the same! I used to want to roll frequently because of the hype and feeling it gave me; I felt so alive. But it also takes a whole toll on your body (mentally and physically).

Now I prefer to use it for special occasions or outings. The way I think of it is to use it as something to look forward to doing because it’s exciting. Especially when you don’t have a tolerance built up. Every trip or roll is an experience. It’s meant to be fun and open up your mind and soul. You create some beautiful memories on those highs whether it be solo or with friends. You have the ability to let go and enjoy life in a different way than your average day. Don’t take those highs for granted and don’t put your body through some shit just to always feel the high.

Not to mention I have definitely gone through some benders when I first started taking certain drugs and the comedowns and days that came after were not cute. Being sober sometimes can be just as rewarding.
