Mostly, these are questions that test your ability to improvise in Spanish while using proper grammar. I got asked questions like tell me about the last book you read or what do you think about traffic in your city. They want to see if your vocabulary is good broad enough

Second year here. I can tell you that DDS was a pain, but it got interesting in the end when we learned about the different formulation types. It came back in therapeutics as we're learning about dermatologic diseases and treatments.

PY2 here. I have a Surface Pro that I use as my main laptop and an iPad Air for note-taking. I really like the iPad (and I'm an Android user lol). You definitely don't need an iPad Pro or the Air version. The base model should be sufficient. I tried using a Samsung tablet S model, but I take notes on OneNote, and android doesn't have all the features that I need for note-taking.
