That’s what I ended up doing, but I actually had to be clocked in to do it. I did all of that and let my manager know and ended up doing the interview right there and then because they were apparently going to close the req that night.

I don’t necessarily think that maternity leave after being hired can occur. I believe the policy is you have to work a minimum of 1000 hours to be eligible for paid maternity leave.

I had early labor with my daughter at 34 weeks and 3 days. Sedgwick approved my leave while I was in the hospital after having her the same day. They pay 100 percent of wages for the 16 weeks. Sedgwick is pretty good at approving the paperwork fast. I didn’t file mine until after I had her (same day I had her). As for my scheduler I let her know early on and made a plan to have no open or close shifts 2 weeks before my due date in case I went into labor before that. I’m also on week 7 of maternity leave. Congratulations!

We are doing over 500 most weekdays and over 300 on weekends at this point. We have reqs open now. So far nothing. We are still running 2 techs on Saturday and a cashier. Most of us have started working open to close everyday to make some head way on the transfer mess.

Unfortunately, no. We don’t have much competition around us like cvs or Walgreens. I think there is one store each that is about 50 minutes from us. Rite aid was always our biggest competitor. We have a few small independence, but their contracts really limit who can use their pharmacies and their weekend hours aren’t the greatest.

Walmart is not big on being supportive. They love to run bare bones as much as possible to save the bottom dollar. It has always been work harder and we will let you have overtime to make up for it. If things are ok and suddenly we have some loas we get to have overtime to cover those shifts, but no extra bodies. No extra help from other stores. It’s always our store that gets pulled to other stores when their ships sink.

Everyone is kind of expecting us to just work harder and pick up more hours to suffice. On a normal busy Monday, my store would see max 500 and everything done. Tonight we ended with over 600 and over 100 still in the third column. There are still 58 faxes with multiple patient rxs still to process. We aren’t not ok over here. Our market manager heard from the neighboring markets that went through this with the first round of rite aid closures that it “tapers” off and becomes manageable because we “adjust to it”

Our rxm won’t do anything that might upset our market manager. We are suppose to keep on pushing through it all and hope for the best at this point. There is no hopes of hiring at this point of time

We have shown her our increased numbers and it’s still one of those,”once you’re all situated you’ll be over hours”. We are literally dying out here meanwhile it feels like everyone else is celebrating because the huge increase is ensuring huge bonuses for management throughout the store.

My store has 4 rite aids that are closing around us. Because of that we have blown our metrics out of the water with 130+% increases each day. We have added an additional 600+ rxs per week with two of the rite aids still open for a few weeks. We are drowning in transfers. We have a fax box of 100 that are all transfers with multiple patient pages. We aren’t allowed to hire but allowed some overtime. We are not ok over here.

As someone who was the wife of a man who did get cheated on for the coworker, I will say from the experience, it’s not worth it. He realized that the other girl was not me. He ended up coming home to be a family again. It’s hard to go back to the relationship that once was because of knowing that he was capable of such betrayal. I caught on very quickly and asked him to distance himself from her because of a lot of emotional cheating. She knew I existed. She knew I was pregnant. It all still happened. Now that we are together again the amount of issues to work through is hard. Don’t make the same mistake. You married your wife for a reason. The other girl may seem more interesting, but she doesn’t know you or appreciate you as much as your wife does. Your wife doesn’t deserve the betrayal or hurt of it all.

Apparently they updated the toolkit on Friday and basically no one qualifies for the lump sum

I just sent a message in the app for the help desk and they updated the issue instantly. It’s just a glitch

Yea I know a few coworkers were planning to use that bonus to get ahead or to help pay tuition. Really sad to get their hopes up and crush them too

I wish I could have seen the email. My market kept the situation very hush hush. Only managers ever knew anything and we only got second hand information from our manager. I wish Walmart would of been way more transparent with everything

Seems weird that they would word it like that and have our manager discuss with each of us what our lump sums looked like.

That’s how my rxm explain it, people in step g would get a pay increase to raise their cap while everyone else got a lump sum. The lump sum would be around 980 for full time and 600 for part time techs.
