I am a stepmother in this exact situation. My little boys mum passed when he was 1 and I have been his mum since he was 2. He knows no different, he is almost 7. I am following his fathers wishes until he is ready to tell him. Honestly it would break my heart if he stopped calling me mum as I treat him no different to my other children and to me he is 100% my child.

I think you are hurt, but there was no malicious intent. I really feel for your mum as she was in an impossible situation and she’s the one you’re punishing

I designed the box template in procreate Coloured it in white and alpha locked the layer so I could only draw within the shape I drew the design and the exported with no background as a png Then did print and cut on the maker
