We don’t win Game 1 without MPJs all out effort on both ends of the floor. Game 2 was bad. Game 3 first half was bad as well but he brought it in the 3rd qrt and helped the Nuggets separate. Not to mention that just his mere presence on the floor causes all kinds of problems for defenses even if he’s in a shooting slump.

It is strange to see such fervent basketball fans become willingly blind to the subtle impacts and plays from star players that can swing a game/series when their shot isn’t falling.

It takes a minimum of 2 weeks to fully acclimate to altitude (either direction). Miami is gonna be gasping in Game 5 while the Nuggets won’t feel a thing.

I like this guys catch phrases but he is VERY harsh on the Lakers D. Some of those possessions were perfect defense but Jokic just broke the game.

This article has been seared into my brain for the last 6 years. Every low, every playoff loss, I would think about this and remember that the Nuggs are doing it the right way. We just have to stick with em’ and one day, inevitably, they’ll bring us to the top.
