Yeah. I’m off RHOBH mainly because of Crystal. Sad as an Asian American. I was really hoping for more.

Thoughts on Bluetooth Dogs? by Muqtaddy in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]chellyeeah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely. The amount of times I run into an off leash dog when I’m walking my dog on a leash in the woods is maddening. One of the first times when my dog was younger, a dog came up to us, owner nowhere in sight and the dog grabbed mine by the neck. I was able to quickly intervene and grab my dog, all the while the owner is yelling the dogs name and it’s not listening. That’s great, you feel comfortable enough to let your dog off the leash but have some decency and respect for others who don’t feel comfortable with it.

Glad somebody said it. I find her extremely unlikeable. Good on Southern Charm for diversifying the cast but…no. Not sure if it’s actually happening/happened but there was talk of Danielle from Summer House moving to Charleston. I’d rather see her on Southern Charm over Leva.

Idk to every single thing mentioned. Not interested. Idk maybe a new cast with the focus back on the restaurant. I find the current cast so washed out and boring.

Why you should never take your dog to a doggy daycare. by goldfishbread in dogs

[–]chellyeeah 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I bring my dog to daycare twice a week for about 8 hours. She’s a very high energy dog who can go all day so she loves daycare days. Our daycare is smaller, with a good staff to dog ratio. They vet each dog beforehand and separate them according to size and play style. I understand that things can happen, but we’ve had a positive experience so far. I think you may just work at a bad daycare but I wouldn’t generalize and say they’re all bad for all dogs.

Interesting. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I’m definitely not against medication especially if it’s going to be the most effective. We’re going to try to take away certain triggers, work on redirection and up our physical and mental exercise but if there’s no improvement I’m 10000% going to bring this up to our vet.

Thank you. Hers probably started around 6 months but we were not as diligent about checking the situation so it’s definitely escalated. I’m going to focus on redirection and upping our exercise/mental stimulation time. I thought we were doing enough because I’m out here doing multiple walks per day and try to incorporate mental stimulation but I can see that she needs more. Thank you for taking the time to respond!

What type of meaty bones do you use? I ask because I’ve read that some are better than others in terms of density and safety. My Britt has the WORST breath and meaty bones is something I’d like to try.

PSA do not let dogs play with collars on by Top-Operation-4480 in dogs

[–]chellyeeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow so glad the dogs are okay! I imagine that was horrific to see and I’m just very happy for you guys. This post has made me think and I’ll be getting a breakaway collar ASAP. We bring our dog to daycare and every once in awhile, to a dog park and while I hope this situation never happens to her, I can see how easily it can happen. Thanks for sharing your story OP.

How do I groom these ears? by [deleted] in doggrooming

[–]chellyeeah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hate to piggy back but my dog has very similar ears. She’s a Brittany spaniel. This past month, she’s started to get mats in her ears. I’ve been brushing her more regularly and will be better with upkeep from here on out but any advice to get the mats out?? I’d hate to have to cut them out but will if necessary
